Summary: The App does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. All your data stays on your device unless you choose to export it.

Jazz Standards Tracker ("the App") is developed by Stephen Jonany. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it's handled.

What data the App stores

The App stores the following locally on your device only:

None of this is sent to any server controlled by the developer. There is no account system, no sign-in, and no cloud sync.

Only when you choose to:

Export: Settings → Export Data generates a CSV file and hands it to your device's normal Share sheet (e.g. to email it to yourself).
Import: choosing a CSV file via your device's file picker to load data back into the App.

In both cases, the data goes exactly where you direct it — the developer never receives a copy.

The App uses two third-party services that may receive data as part of normal internet requests:

Google Fonts — downloads font files on first launch (then caches them). See Google's privacy policy.
YouTube — if you add a YouTube link to a song and tap play, the video is shown using YouTube's embedded player. YouTube's standard data collection applies during playback. See Google's privacy policy.

The App also lets you open any other URL you've added in your device's browser; that site's own privacy policy applies once you leave the App.

The App requests internet access only, used for the two services above. It does not request camera, microphone, location, or contacts access.

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
